Base fee:
  • Guest speaker and/or host registration with lunch.
  • The event is $3 per person. Lunch is optional at an additional $8 per person.

    You can pay online when you RSVP, or choose "invoice me" to pay at the door on the day of the event.

    Either way, registering for the event ahead of time helps us plan for adequate seating and meals for lunch, so we very much appreciate it!

Exhibits, Displays, Cemetery Projects If you have a cemetery project and wish to share the information with others, please bring a display board, photos, or other related materials. Tables will be available to set up displays.

MOCA Annual Business Meeting and Nominating Committee’s 2020 Proposed Slate of Officers.

All are welcome to attend, or you may view the displays at this time.

Readfield Corner’s Oldest Structures

Dale Potter-Clark, Readfield historian and author, Readfield Historical Society

Presentation on the origins of some of these structures, including information on the Vestry, known as the “Smith Mansion” and its connection to the Union Meeting House.

Noon— 1:00 pm

Lunch

$8:00 per person. Homemade chili, cornbread, salad, beverages, and homemade desserts provided by the Readfield Union Meeting House and Friends of the Vestry.

Proceeds will support further restorations of the Vestry.

LUNCH RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED by Monday, September 9. Lunch reservations and payments may be made online now or by contacting Jessica Couture.

Walk and Talk Guided Tour led by Dale Potter-Clark, tour from Gile Hall to the Vestry and the Union Meeting House and then on to Readfield Corner Cemetery.
