Opening and Dedication of Lexington/Highland History House*

Members of the Lexington/Highland Historical Society cordially invite you to the official opening and dedication of the Lexington/Highland History House at 3 Back Road in Lexington, Maine on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11 o’clock in the morning. Please join us as we celebrate the completion of our museum home depicting 1890’s family life and beyond in a small Maine community.

Event activities include: Welcome, Dedication, Entertainment by the Kennebec Valley Chordsmen and Maine Stream Quintet, Placement of a Time Capsule, Ribbon Cutting followed by House Tours, Outside Table Exhibits and a Noon-Time Lunch, hosted by Society Members. Historical Presentations and a visit to the Boynton Cemetery are scheduled for the afternoon. We hope you will join us as we celebrate a Milestone in Lexington/Highland History.
